Fundraising

Showboat is a fundraising machine. Our grassroots efforts stem from a willingness to be involved and help our community. 

Throughout the year, the team organizes and participates in a variety of fundraising events and sustained programs. These include comedy nights, karaoke, a curling league, brewing and selling local craft beer, or pub nights.

You can also catch us at the Great Glebe Garage Sale, or selling cupcakes. All funds raised by the team are donated to the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation, which in turn, directs the funds to local charities. Since 2005 the team has raised over $200,000 for these charities.
